The Lebanese Labor law was enacted in 1946 under President Bechara Al Khoury, as one of the first laws issued by the Lebanese republic. This law still governs till today the labor relations in Lebanon, thus the importance of its translation into English, so that it may be accessible to all. Moreover, this version of the labor law contains all the amendments from 1962 up to 2019, which reflect the changes in penalties for violations.  This translation is part of SADER’s Lebanese Law in English series, wich falls under SADER’s mission of facilitiating access to legal in-fornmation to all.
